TEENS

becoming cycle savvy

Gatherings for teens and their mothers or caregivers who are ready to meet this season of growing by deepening into self-care, sexuality, and the rhythm of their cycles.

BODY SOVEREIGNTY

Teen circles offer a safe, supportive space to explore the realities of growing up — bodies, emotions, relationships, and cycles — with honesty, respect, and empowerment. Together, we normalize what’s real and celebrate the wisdom of becoming.

Here, we nurture body literacy, cycle tracking, and self-care practices that support lifelong wellness. Mothers/caregivers are invited to learn alongside their daughters through guided dialogue and shared resources, strengthening connection and building confidence for ongoing conversations at home.

QUESTIONS & CURIOSITY

This is a time of curiosity and questioning — about sex and sexuality, gender identity, relationships, boundaries, and self-care — and it’s natural for parents to feel unsure about how much to share or when to begin.

Research shows that open, accurate conversations about sexuality and the menstrual cycle do not lead to earlier sexual activity; they lead to safer, healthier choices and stronger self-advocacy.

TOGETHER WE WILL...

Cover all the foundational topics from our younger cohorts: body changes, female anatomy and physiology, sexual intercourse, conception/pregnancy/birth, consent and pleasure, hormonal cycles and menstruation, and menstrual care.

Create supportive community within which we normalize emotional and hormonal fluctuations as natural parts of growing up and having a cyclical body, and examine cultural messages that pathologize our experiences.

Practice cycle tracking and self-care for each phase of the menstrual cycle, including how to recognize physical and emotional signals and respond with self-compassion.

Engage in open, sex-positive, shame-free discussions about sexuality and relationships--exploring boundaries, communication, pleasure, cultural messaging, and respect for self and others.

Deepen conversations about body sovereignty and self-advocacy, including understanding birth control options and making informed choices about reproductive health.

IS IT TOO LATE TO START NOW?

It's not! Many parents worry they’ve missed their chance to shape these conversations, but it’s never too late to begin. Whether your teen has already started their period or you’ve never talked openly about sex or cycles before, this is the perfect time to start.

Adolescence is a season of questioning and redefinition; our kids are still listening, even when they seem to pull away. What they need most is our willingness to show up with honesty, curiosity, and calm. Open conversations about bodies, relationships, and self-care don’t encourage sexual activity—they build trust, safety, and self-respect.

When we begin now, we’re not catching up; we’re meeting them exactly where they are, modeling that it’s never too late to learn, to talk, and to grow together.

FEELING NERVOUS IS NORMAL

Many girls arrive feeling unsure, anxious, or even resistant to talking about puberty, periods, and sex —and that makes perfect sense: our culture has shrouded these topics in embarrassment and silence for far too long. That’s why this circle holds space for all the feelings: awkwardness, discomfort, curiosity, and everything in between. Each gathering, each conversation, cultivates a powerful shift. By the end of our time together, kids are standing taller, asking questions boldly, and walking away with confidence, clarity, and pride in who they are becoming.

PRIVATE MENTORSHIP & COACHING

I offer one-on-one sessions for parents and caregivers who want to feel more confident guiding their child through puberty, menstruation, and body changes. With over fifteen years of experience supporting families through this transition, I provide compassionate, practical guidance to help you navigate this stage with clarity and confidence.

Together, we can explore how to start (or continue) conversations about bodies, self-care, and sexuality in ways that feel natural, honest, and aligned with your family’s values.

You may also find that this journey brings up parts of your own story—your first period, your early experiences with sex education, or the messages you received about your body. Our work together can help you process that history so you can show up for your child from a grounded, compassionate place.

These sessions are a safe space to ask questions, find language for tricky topics, and strengthen your connection with your child as they grow into themselves.
