The birth of Period of Change after this past year of conception and creation - and yes, pushing! - feels both surreal and deeply meaningful.
I’m so excited to celebrate this moment together at our online launch gathering and to mark the beginning of this book’s journey out into the world.
This event is free and open to the public.

During the gathering, we will share a conversation about the work that I've done with girls/menstruators and their mothers over the past 15 years, the reasons I wrote the book, and what changes we hope to see -- and create -- for our children.
This will be an opportunity for us to come together in celebration of the book’s release, reflect on the cultural shifts that are beginning to take place around menstruation and puberty, and imagine what it could look like for the next generation of girls to grow up with knowledge, confidence, and support that so many of us never received.
Whether you are a mother, caregiver, educator, or simply someone who believes that girls deserve better information and care as they grow, I would love to have you join us.
Circles for 7-9 year-olds meet for one weekend: Saturday and Sunday from 9am to Noon each day.
Space is limited to eight parent-child pairs. | Participants must be able to attend all gatherings.

Your may reserve your space with a deposit of $100, with full payment due by May 1st, 2025.

Circles for 10-12 year-olds meet for three consecutive weekends: Saturday and Sunday from 9am to Noon each day.
Space is limited to six parent-child pairs. | Participants must be able to attend all gatherings. | This circle is offered 2-3 times per year.
All in-person circles are offered in the Louisville KY metro area unless otherwise noted.
